Femininity Unbound: Feben Embraced by Dolce&Gabbana
The accomplished Ethiopian designer Feben embraced by Dolce&Gabbana marked her inaugural appearance at Milan Fashion Week with a diverse, all-encompassing, and environmentally conscious collection.
Feben Embraced by Dolce&Gabbana chosen by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana for the Supported by Dolce&Gabbana project, unveiled her Speed collection at Milan Fashion Week, held at Via Broggi 23.
Her runway presentation epitomized a fusion of energy and sensuality, featuring inclusive and sustainable attire adorned with vibrant prints, textured fabrics, and eclectic embellishments.
A modern and cosmopolitan woman
Feben's Speed collection encapsulates her surrealistic style, imbuing each creation with a diverse tapestry of global inspiration and influences. The original silhouettes span from fluid dresses with pointed hems inspired by African traditions to sharply tailored suits in vibrant hues, creating captivating optical illusions highlighted by colorful tights, tulle gloves, and stiletto heels.
This authentic, multifaceted, and distinctly feminine aesthetic, grounded in craftsmanship, harmoniously melds with the creative universe of Dolce&Gabbana.
“Feben’s creativity is energetic, vibrant and sensual. We really like her authentic approach focused on Fatto a Mano (hand-crafted): her collaborations with artisans from all over the world guided us on our choice to support her work. We are truly happy that this project has become a seasonal appointment that has given a great opportunity to many talents to pursue their path: it’s a result that really motivates us to continue this project”.
