Founded in Paris in 2019 by Andreas Steiner, RIER translates South Tyrolean mountain dress into reduced city clothing grounded in natural fibres and local Austrian and Italian craftsmanship. Steiner treats alpine utility as living material culture, so Walker jackets and knickerbocker proportions become precise, mobile forms for contemporary life. The signature Walker cloth is 100% wool, woven like a knit and felted like a Loden, with completely unlined construction. Natural wool fleece-pile carries a Riri® half zipper, while Walker light uses a natural wool-border woven in Austria.
