Founded in Brussels in 1985 by Craig Wright, Dragon Diffusion is built around hand-crafted woven leather bags and baskets. Wright’s insatiable curiosity turns basketry references, from New Zealand tribal kit bags to Japanese bamboo basketry and French and British wicker paniers, into leather weaving handcrafted in India. Many designs use open tops, no lining, braided handles, natural vegetable dyes and an antiqued St. Christopher medal sewn inside, with patina and colour variation treated as part of the object’s life.
