About the brand

Rome, Selleria, and the FF Motif

Founded in Rome in 1925 by Adele Casagrande and Edoardo Fendi, the Maison began as a fur and leather workshop on via del Plebiscito. Its Roman roots were shaped by technique, especially the saddlery knowledge that became Selleria, then sharpened by Karl Lagerfeld from 1965 through the FF logo and a more graphic, lightweight approach to fur. Today, the house is known for leather goods, ready-to-wear and bags such as the Baguette and Peekaboo, with Selleria stitching as a signature detail.
