Gerolamo’s 1981 Paisley Turn

Etro began in Milan in 1968 as a textile company, giving the house its enduring belief that fabric leads form. Gerolamo Etro introduced Paisley in 1981, transforming a motif with Central Asian date-palm-blossom origins into the brand’s defining code. Its language fuses antique shawls, travel, art history and Made in Italy craft through saturated jacquards, placed prints, British-inflected tailoring and flou dresses.
