Northampton Precision on the 173 Last

Church's roots its authority in Northampton shoemaking: Thomas Church opened the factory there in 1873, while the house's history traces Anthony Church to 1617. Its design language refines English archetypes rather than replacing them: the Consul cap-toe Oxford on the 173 last, the whole-cut Shannon, the Pembrey penny loafer and the Shanghai buckle strap. Goodyear-welted construction, brogue perforations, Polished Fumé and Polished Binder finishes give its shoes a quietly refined country-to-city discipline.
