Skewed Denim for the Other America

Founded in New York in 2009 by Chris Leba, R13 builds luxury from classic American sportswear and the attitude of the Other America. The label reworks five-pocket denim, flannels, biker jackets, cashmere and tailoring through British punk, grunge, underground music and downtown street energy. Its codes are deliberately skewed: the original asymmetric Crossover Jean, Tailored Drop denim in Japanese rigid indigo, shrunken leather, distressed cashmere, bandana prints, studs, chains and Harness hardware.
