1925年、Adele CasagrandeとEdoardo Fendiによりローマで創業されたメゾンは、via del Plebiscitoの毛皮とレザーの工房として始まりました。ローマのルーツは技術に支えられ、とりわけ馬具の知識がSelleriaへと昇華。1965年以降はKarl LagerfeldがFFロゴと、よりグラフィカルで軽やかな毛皮のアプローチによって洗練を重ねました。現在では、レザーグッズ、プレタポルテ、そしてBaguetteやPeekabooのようなバッグで知られ、Selleriaステッチは象徴的なディテールです。
